Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Engineer (Local 39) to service commercial facilities in Sunnyvale, Mountain View, and San Bruno. The role requires plumbing expertise, a valid driver’s license, Backflow certification, and the ability to work 8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining plumbing systems, performing certifications, and documenting work in CMMS. A company vehicle is provided for site travel.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Plumbing Journeyman’s license or State License is required.
• Backflow certification is required (or obtainable within 90 days).
• High school diploma or state equivalency required.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and local codes.
• Team player with good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to operate hand tools, ladders, and heavy loads safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of site plumbing systems in facilities.
• Perform or support Backflow Certifications; training reimbursement available.
• Plan, install, test, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and equipment.
• Read blueprints and plumbing schematics; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain CMMS records and document work in real time.
• Work with minimal supervision and communicate with manager.
