Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Mobile Engineer to manage facility maintenance for retail sites within the assigned route. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general building repairs, with a fully equipped vehicle and tools provided.

The role requires 4–5 years of related experience, a Universal CFC certificate, and a valid driver’s license, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and efficiency in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience, or combination of experience and education.
• Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs and climbing.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Service Channel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems to meet standards.
• Review inspections of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Estimate time and materials needed for repairs and manage work orders.
• Maintain truck stock and supplies for daily maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and oversee emergency repairs.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
