Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Waco, TX seeks a Mobile Engineer to maintain facility operations across retail sites. You’ll manage mechanical, plumbing, electrical and control systems, ensuring environmental and safety standards are met while coordinating with field teams.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, estimating time for repairs, managing inventory, and performing preventive maintenance. The role requires a valid driver’s license, CFC certification and 4–5 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more; stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural and control systems for the facility.
• Review inspections of building systems including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• Estimate time to complete repairs and material needs based on work orders.
• Maintain truck stock inventory and ensure tools are available.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee emergency repairs as needed.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles as part of daily duties.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies.

Education
