Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform technical and mechanical tasks across portfolio properties in Plano, TX. You will support energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.

The role involves daily property travel, adherence to safety guidelines, and coordination with facility managers and tenants. A certified HVAC/operating engineer background and 2+ years of field experience are

Qualifications

• Training and certification in HVAC or Operating Engineer technologies
• 2 years of field experience or equivalent technical training
• CFC training and certification or ability to obtain certification
• Continuing education in field
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with routine supervision
• Basic computer skills to operate Building Automation Systems
• Familiarity with OSHA, NEC and NFC codes and regulations

Responsibilities

• Comply with EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE rules and safety guidelines
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control and BMS
• Conduct site inspections of roofs, mechanical and electrical rooms
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including HVAC and plumbing
• Communicate with facility managers, tenants, vendors and visitors
• Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades and facility improvements
• Travel between properties daily
• Maintain professional appearance and clean uniforms
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Interact with clients/tenants professionally
• Inform Regional Operations Manager of issues
• Assist in coordinating construction projects
• Assist in disaster recovery efforts
• Read/write English to understand manuals and procedures
• Use mobile device or laptop to access work orders and emails
• Handle other duties as assigned
