Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Mobile Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building management systems across portfolio properties in Texas. The role requires field experience, safety compliance, and the ability to communicate with tenants and vendors.

Travel between properties is required. The candidate should have HVAC certification or equivalent training, CFC certification or ability to obtain it, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or operating engineer training required
• 2 years field experience or equivalent technical training
• CFC training and certification or ability to obtain certification
• Continuing education in field
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with routine supervision
• Basic computer skills to operate Building Automation Systems
• Familiarity with OSHA, NEC and NFC codes and regulations

Responsibilities

• Comply with EPA, OSHA & ASHRAE safety guidelines
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire control, and BMS
• Conduct site inspections of roof, mechanical & electrical rooms
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks
• Communicate effectively with facility managers, tenants, vendors, employees, and visitors
• Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades and facility improvements
• Travel daily between assigned properties
• Maintain neat, professional appearance and uniforms
• Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Interact with clients/tenants professionally
• Inform Regional Operations Manager of problems promptly
• Assist in coordinating construction projects and disaster recovery efforts
• Read/write English to understand manuals and procedures
• Use mobile device or laptop to access work orders and building systems
