Job summary

Interfor Corporation is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator in Eatonton, Georgia to support our lumber operations. You will perform safety-focused equipment inspections, operate gear to unload log trucks, sort logs, and keep the log yard clean while assisting with basic maintenance.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off equipment, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safe work practices. A high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment daily before startup, both physically and in writing.

• Maintain cleanliness in the log yard area.
• Grease equipment and assist with basic maintenance.
