Job summary

Interfor in Eatonton, Georgia is hiring a Mobile Equipment Operator to support lumber movement in our manufacturing operation. You will perform safety-focused pre-start inspections and operate equipment to unload log trucks while maintaining productivity.

The ideal candidate will have high school or GED, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a safe work environment. You will work in a team, communicate across departments, and participate in maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to complete operator certification.
• Commitment to maintain a safe work environment.
• Able to lift heavy objects and to climb up and down from equipment.
• Recognize problems and have them corrected immediately.
• Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team.
• Open-minded and positive in dealing with change and new ways of doing things.
• Able to communicate effectively with your team and other departments.
• Take personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
• High School education or GED equivalent preferred.
