Job summary

Interfor in Perry, Georgia is seeking a Mobile Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair mobile and rolling stock, ensuring safe, efficient operations across mill activities. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work orders, inspect tires and fluid levels, and coordinate with supervisors.

Two+ years of mobile equipment experience required; basic electrical aptitude; a high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical aptitude.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mobile and rolling stock equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation, including scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Complete work orders accurately, documenting parts used and time spent.
• Inspect tires, fluid levels, belts, and related components; replace or repair as needed.
