Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to manage the logistical movement of raw and finished production on assigned shifts. You will operate equipment per SOPs, ensure safety and quality standards, and maintain logs and paperwork across the wood yard.

The role requires climbing ladders occasionally, operating heavy equipment, and complying with strict safety rules in outdoor conditions. This is a full-time position based in Clinton, NC.

Qualifications

• Internal company certification is required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions.
• Proficient in mathematics and measurement.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy industrial equipment safely (e.g., Front-End Loaders, clamp fork, track loaders) to unload logs and load production material.
• Inspect equipment and report unsafe or unsuitable conditions.
• Understand mix and targets when feeding different fiber types into the process.
• Perform daily checks and basic maintenance (blowing, washing, greasing) to keep equipment in good condition.
• Monitor yard control room parameters to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Maintain proper paperwork and documentation for the shift.
• Keep work area clean and perform assigned duties as needed.
