Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited, operating the Pogo Mine in Alaska, is seeking an Underground Miner/Bullgang on a 21/21 rotating camp schedule. The Mobile Equipment Electrician will install and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems on heavy mobile equipment with a focus on safety, reliability, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation and maintenance of vehicle/mobile equipment electrical and automation systems.
• Practical mining/automotive industry experience.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Demonstrated application of safe working procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-standard auto electrical work in a safe, timely manner.
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical systems and components.
• Provide technical advice to Maintenance Team members.
• Ensure workmanship meets standards and is properly recorded.
• Support other maintenance and light vehicle teams as needed.
