Job summary

Northern Star Pogo LLC is seeking a UGM Mobile Equipment Electrician in Delta Junction, AK. The role covers electrical and instrumentation installation and preventive maintenance of mining mobile equipment under the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Work is on a 21 days on/21 days off rotating schedule at a remote campsite, with company-provided housing and meals, dining, Wi‑Fi, and bus service to Fairbanks, Delta Junction and Tok.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high standard of auto electrical execution in a safe and timely manner.
• Diagnose and fault-find electrical systems and components.
• Provide technical advice and support to Maintenance Team members.
• Ensure workmanship meets standards, tolerances and is tested prior to handover.
• Ensure effective communication and handover between crews with regards to maintenance plans and issues.
• Ensure correct parts and equipment for all planned and unplanned jobs.
• Assist Mobile Maintenance and Light Vehicle teams with mechanical repairs.
• Ensure all tasks comply with environmental standards and MSHA requirements.
• Continuously review scheduled jobs to identify improvement opportunities.
• Highlight equipment defects and issues using the maintenance process.
• Rigorous cost management - avoid rework and unnecessary parts/services usage.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all work areas.
• Other duties as required.
