Austin Powder in Diamond, OH is seeking a Mobile Equipment Manufacturing Engineer to oversee the assembly and rebuilding of MMU beds, coordinating daily build activities and directing a manufacturing team to meet schedule targets.

You will design or modify fabrication models in CAD, develop SOPs, manage parts sourcing, monitor costs and KPI performance, and support continuous improvement with the engineering group.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical, maintenance, or shop environment with supervisory experience.
• Experience supervising teams in assembly or mechanical settings.
• Industrial, explosive, or chemical manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee assembly and rebuilding of MMU beds to meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate daily build activities, manage schedules, and direct team members.
• Develop and maintain assembly instructions and SOPs.
• Utilize CAD to design/modify fabrication models and verify alignment with production needs.
• Track progress with CMMS and monitor KPIs for cost, quality, and schedule.
• Oversee inventory control and sourcing of parts to prevent shortages or excess.
• Support continuous improvement with engineering and supplier coordination.
