Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for medical facilities and grounds, ensuring efficient operation across multiple sites in Portland. The role emphasizes independence, problem-solving, and adherence to CBRE’s standards.

You will manage mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, review work orders, and implement preventive maintenance programs. A valid driver’s license, EPA certification, and 4–5 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Universal CFC/EPA Universal certification required.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift/move heavy loads and meet physical requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems across facilities.
• Review work orders, estimate time/materials, and manage inventory of supplies/tools.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and handle emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate inspections of building systems to ensure operation within design specs and environmental conditions.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles to perform daily tasks.
• Share knowledge and mentor others; drive collaboration and outcomes.
