Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Engineer to oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and operation of building systems across multiple sites in southern Portland. You will lead maintenance, review work orders, and manage inventory to ensure facilities run efficiently.

The role requires CFC/EPA Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Strong MS Office and CMMS experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma or 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Universal CFC/EPA Universal certification and Valid Driver’s license required.
• Meet the physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ ladders, lifting 50 lbs).
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; maintain inventory.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs to meet design conditions.
• Review inspections of building systems to ensure operation aligns with design and client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Operate company vehicles in daily work responsibilities.
• Share knowledge and mentor others across multiple areas.
• Model CBRE’s RISE values and drive collaboration with teams.
