Commercial Facilities & Property Operations is seeking an Operating HVAC/REngineer to join the Facilities Operations team in Lafayette, IN. You will lead maintenance activities, coordinate with vendors, and drive system improvements while supporting tenant service and critical operations.

The role requires 4+ years in commercial facility operations and an EPA CFC certification, with opportunity to obtain certification within the first year. Strong communication and CMMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in commercial facility operations, building maintenance, or engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate, and make independent operational decisions.
• Universal CFC EPA certification or willingness to obtain within the first year (support provided).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls systems and vendor management experience.

Our client, Commercial Facilities & Property Operations is seeking a Operating HVAC Engineer to join their team. As a Operating Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Operations team supporting building maintenance, system management, and tenant service. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and direct others, strong decision-making skills, and the confidence to prioritize workload while coordinating with vendors and responding to tenant needs.

Job Title: Operating HVAC/REngineer

Location: Lafayette, IN

Pay Range: $43/hr
