Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Operating Engineer in Knoxville, TN to join the Facilities Management team and support building operations, maintenance, and tenant services.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of commercial/industrial building maintenance experience with EPA 608 certification and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. On-site work with a daytime schedule offers growth opportunities within a global leader in facilities management and commercial real estate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years of commercial or industrial building maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills, including experience with work order management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, monitoring, and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire/life safety, and building systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Complete work orders through Corrigo and maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment readings.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors while monitoring the quality of outsourced maintenance work.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.

Our client, a leading commercial real estate and facilities management organization, is seeking an OperatingEngineer to join their team. As an OperatingEngineer, you will be part of the Facilities Management team supporting building operations, maintenance, and tenant services. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization

Job Title: OperatingEngineer

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

What’s the Job?
