Job summary

JLL seeks a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover the North East region of England. You will perform reactive and PPM tasks across commercial premises, with some installation work.

The role emphasizes self-motivation, reliability, and client-facing communication while maintaining high safety and QA standards. This hands-on position requires initiative, a strong multi-skilled background in building services, and the ability to work to schedule, including out-of-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 or equivalent electrical installation qualifications are required.
• C&G electrical installation certificates are essential.
• 18th edition and related safety knowledge are expected.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience with commercial electrical systems and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and docs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance repairs across commercial premises.
• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and inspections.
• Order parts and equipment needed for tasks and maintain logs.
• Produce detailed reports and certificates for works completed.
• Work to industry standards and participate in on-call rota.
• Maintain QA, safety procedures, and site documentation.
