Job summary

Versiti Blood Research Institute seeks a Donor Driver Specialist to support mobile donation events and ensure a safe, positive donor experience. You will operate a van, load supplies, and transport staff to and from mobile sites with care for safety and professionalism.

Under supervision, you will perform phlebotomy, donor screening, and assist automation as needed, while upholding regulatory requirements and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year in a people-facing role preferred; <1 year required.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and safety rules.
• Ability to learn computer applications and coordinate with team.

Responsibilities

• Follows DOT guidelines when operating a van and safely transports staff and supplies.
• Loads/unloads supplies and sets up at mobile sites; ensures equipment readiness.
• Performs donor screening, mini-physical, and phlebotomy as needed.
• Provides excellent donor service and responsive communication with donors and staff.
