Job summary

JM Test Systems seeks a Division Manager for our Mobile facility. You will oversee daily lab operations, lead administrative, sales, and technical staff, and own the division's financial performance from budgets to gross profit.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll ensure safety and ISO 17025 compliance while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. You will build a strong team, think strategically about the business, and stay close to lab details that keep instruments accurate

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements for testing and calibration laboratories and of quality control standards.
Financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and strategic planning.
Experience with enterprise software in a complex organization, supplier relationship management, and core HR practices.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in office and lab settings.
Preferred: Bachelor's or associate's degree, or military training in measurement science, calibration, or related field such as electronics or temperature.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of the Mobile lab facility and oversee projects and services.
Own financial performance: budgets, forecasts, pricing, gross profit, and growth.
Build and develop the team: recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; set clear goals.
Ensure safety and compliance with ISO 17025, NAIL, OSHA, NFPA 70E, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and IEEE.
Maintain measurement quality through lab housekeeping and environmental controls.
Strengthen customer relationships by managing client interactions and resolving issues.
Drive continuous improvement by setting departmental goals and participating in leadership meetings.
