JM Test Systems in Mattoon, IL is seeking a Division Manager to lead the Mattoon facility, its people, operations, and customers. You will own the division's performance, budgets, pricing, and growth, while ensuring safe, compliant lab operations to ISO 17025 standards.

You will supervise administrative, sales, and technical staff, partner with the COO and executives to drive quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement, and shape how the division grows within JM Test Systems.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years in a supervisory or management role.
Knowledge of ISO 17025 requirements for testing and calibration laboratories and of quality control standards.
Financial and business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and strategic planning.
Experience with enterprise software in a complex organization, supplier relationship management, and core HR practices such as hiring, training, and performance management.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in office and lab settings.
Bachelor's or associate's degree, or military training, in measurement science, calibration, or related field preferred.

Mansioni

Lead daily operations. Direct lab operations, projects, and services, plan and delegate work, and use production reporting to balance workloads so work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
Own financial performance. Manage budgets, forecasts, spending, inventory, and pricing within corporate guidelines, and use financial and sales data to grow revenue and gross profit.
Build and develop the team. Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate staff, set clear goals and performance standards, and build a culture of trust, respect, and accountability.
Keep people safe and compliant. Oversee safety training and ensure compliance with company policies and standards including ISO 17025, NAIL, OSHA, NFPA 70E, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and IEEE.
Protect measurement quality. Maintain housekeeping and lab environmental conditions that support accurate, reliable results.
Strengthen customer relationships. Build client relationships, resolve complaints promptly, and review complaint trends to find where the team needs support.
Drive improvement. Implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures with corporate leadership, lead team huddles and meetings, participate in executive meetings, and champion continuous improvement.
