Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Traveling Telecomm Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, safely operate drilling equipment, and verify utilities while maintaining bore schedules.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to travel up to 100%. We offer comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

• Experience with drilling equipment and ability to interpret drill setups.
• Ability to work safely in varied terrain and weather conditions.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Up to 100% travel.
• Other duties as assigned
