Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a mobile field environment, using company tools and a provided service truck.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel experience, strong customer communication skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. A valid license and a safety-first mindset are essential.

Qualificações

• 3+ years hands-on diesel technician experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Valid driver’s license; 23+ with clean driving record.
• DOT inspection and air brake repair expertise.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.

Responsabilidades

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance and follow-up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency roadside service calls with urgency.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and handheld computers to identify and fix issues quickly.
• Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment as needed to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to ensure repairs meet high-quality standards.
• Maintain safety and efficiency, meeting industry-standard repair times.
• Collaborate with trusted vendors to source parts and keep operations moving.
• Take ownership of company-issued service truck and perform pre/post-trip inspections.
