Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site with a company-provided truck and tools. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside work, in a field environment.

You will need at least 3 years of hands-on diesel experience, DOT and air brake expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks.
• DOT inspections and air brake repair experience.
• Strong communication with customers and drivers.
• Comfort with mobile apps and digital repair records.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventive maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
• Respond to emergency road service calls with urgency.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use diagnostic tools, handheld computers, and precision instruments to identify issues.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure top quality.
