Rush Truck Centers is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support our customers by maintaining fleets and handling on-site service calls at client locations in Illinois. You will diagnose and repair trucks, manage service-truck inventories, and work with a team to deliver timely service.

The role requires 5+ years as a Class 7/8 technician, a high school diploma or GED, and mechanical aptitude. CDL is preferred but not required; medical card per FMVSS may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years as a Class 7/8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, ASE certifications preferred and rewarded.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and inspections as assigned.
• Manage inventory on service truck and stocked vehicle tools.
• Report to Service Manager and follow daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible shifts.
• Diagnose and repair using diagnostic equipment and company tech info.
• Document work in the mobile service program in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers and advise on future repairs.
