Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing offers a Mobile Mechanic role in Bloomington, MN, focused on maintaining a fleet for clients and performing service calls at client locations. You will provide service with strong customer focus, handle cleaning and inspections, and perform installations with manuals and reconditioning steps.

Responsibilities include diagnostic work, inventory management, after-hours availability, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current CDL and Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are a must.
• Must possess a valid driver license with insurability per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, and required inspections.
• Manage inventory control on the service truck and ensure vehicle is stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and be assigned daily duties.
• Maintain availability for after-hours service calls and open work schedule.
• Read job orders and diagnose vehicle operation to plan work procedures.
