Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our customers with on-site service and expert repairs. The ideal candidate will maintain fleets, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance at client locations.

Current CDL is preferred but not required; a medical card per FMVSS is required. This role offers growth within a leading transportation network with strong total rewards and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by the FMVSS.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins, and ASE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance and inspections on client trucks.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep it stocked.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment and plan repairs.
• Report to the Service Manager and take daily assigned duties.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
