Job summary

CAI Cox Automotive Corp Svcs., LLC is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs in a field/mobile setting. The role emphasizes diagnostics, parts management, and customer-facing technical support across nationwide sites.

Daily duties include equipment testing, recording RO data on an iOS device, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations. Excellent pay and a $3000 new-hire bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• DOT pre-employment background screening and a DOT medical card may be required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain DQT files.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, cooling, braking, and engine systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Manage parts inventory on a service truck and document work on RO using mobile devices.
• Communicate with customers and management to obtain approvals and discuss RO findings.
• Maintain safety and DOT/compliance standards and operate company vehicle.
