Job summary

Cox is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II in Vancouver, WA to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile field environment. The role requires advanced diagnostics, compliance with safety regulations, and effective communication with clients.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of experience, and a valid state driver’s license. The position offers an hourly pay range of $29.42 to $44.13 and various benefits including weekly pay and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with at least 3 years of related experience.
• Pass DOT‑regulated background screening and DOT physical.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment.
• Document work per company standards.
