Job summary

Cox Automotive, USA, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II (DOT) to perform licensed DOT inspections and preventive maintenance on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field setting. The role requires flexibility in schedule (Wed–Sat, 8am–4pm) and the ability to work remotely within the specified region.

The technician will diagnose, repair, and service equipment, maintain safety checks, and document all work via the TRAIT app. A 4,000 USD new hire bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance inspections.
• Experience with light to heavy-duty vehicle repair.
• Ability to diagnose and repair using handheld devices and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair various types of truck equipment including electrical, braking, cooling systems and engines.
• Document findings and upload pictures of work performed and parts used on RO using iOS TRAIT app.
