Job summary

National Fleet Management is seeking experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to deliver professional, high-quality repairs directly at our customers’ locations across our territory.

You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy-duty trucks, perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections, and maintain a tidy service truck while delivering excellent customer service. This role offers a performance-based pay structure and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing heavy‑duty diesel equipment.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing daily responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on heavy‑duty commercial trucks.
• Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, air, hydraulic, and fuel systems.
• Accurately document repairs, parts used, and completed work.
• Maintain inventory and organization of your company‑provided service truck.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while building relationships with fleet customers.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
