Job summary

Epika Fleet Services is seeking skilled technicians for Fleet Mobile Maintenance to service Class 8 tractors and trailers across on-site mobile calls and in-yard visits. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance, ensuring DOT compliance and quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractor and Trailers.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable working with Computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows verbal and written work orders to stay on track with daily repairs.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis over the phone and helping the customer decide next steps on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair Class 8 tractors/trailers and components.
• Write detailed work orders - Mobile Road Calls or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service, including responding promptly to client queries.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service/replace parts (tires, hubs, axles).
• Check/repair brake, electrical and hydraulic systems; test for performance issues.
• Ensure trailers meet DOT road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports and report findings to management.
