Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our on-site maintenance team. Our mobile repair network delivers maintenance at customer locations with DOT-certified technicians.

You’ll perform repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, manage maintenance schedules, and handle parts and documentation. We offer competitive wages ($36-$42/hr), comprehensive benefits, and a supportive, family-oriented workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 3 years of experience in truck/ trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, such as brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Schedule and overlook all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/ trailer components.
• Open and Close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other forms of documentation in a timely fashion.
