Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking mechanically skilled technicians to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. You will handle inspections, diagnostics, brake and electrical work, and coordinate maintenance with a mobile repair team.

The role requires 3+ years of diesel and trailer repair, valid license, and ability to work varied hours. We offer progressive pay and comprehensive benefits for motivated technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning.
• Able to use a computer/tablet for electronic work orders and labor entries.
• 2 years of annual federal inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from vendors and manage service-truck inventory.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation accurately and timely.
