Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Permanently employed Mobile Diesel Technician for our Torque by Ryder fleet in Austin, IN.

You will service heavy and medium duty trucks, perform diagnostics, and conduct preventive maintenance in a fast-paced field setting. The role includes weekly pay, a starting wage of $36.00 per hour based on experience, a $2,000 retention bonus quarterly within the first year, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
• Experience with diagnostics and repairs of AC and electrical systems.
• PMs including oil changes, brakes, tires, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy/medium duty trucks with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Complete repair orders and maintain professional relationships with customers and team.
