Job summary

Torque by Ryder is seeking a permanent, full-time mid-level Mobile Automotive Technician to support our truck fleet in Memphis, TN. The role offers pay up to $32/hour, a $2,000 quarterly retention bonus, and a 40-hour work week with weekend premiums.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicles, with mobile service vehicle provided. Growth and paid training are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more in combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Valid CDL Class A preferred; CDL Class E with state license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, inspect and perform preventive maintenance for non-contractual customers.
• Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, tires, filters, and alignments.
• Assist higher-grade technicians in complex repairs and diagnostics.
• Operate mobile maintenance vehicle and travel to customer yards within region.
• Document work orders and repair notes in Salesforce and ensure proper records.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
