Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing seeks a Mobile Diesel Technician to service client fleets at locations across the region. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to safety standards, and proactive communication with customers and the service team. A strong work ethic and willingness to train are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability.
• Communication and customer service skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment per company standards and perform basic truck maintenance.
• Handle service calls, inspect and replace parts as needed.
• Manage service-truck inventory and tools, report to Service Manager.
• Be available for after-hours calls and flexible work schedule.
• Read job orders, diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment, and document work.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure safety checks are completed.
• Document all work in the computer system and communicate with customers.
• Suggest future repairs and participate in ongoing training.
