Job summary
Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment. You will operate a company-provided service truck and work with a team that values safety and efficiency.
Requirements include 3+ years of hands-on diesel experience, DOT inspection know-how, and strong communication skills with drivers and customers.
Qualifications
- 3+ years hands-on diesel tech experience on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
- DOT inspections and air brake repair experience.
- Strong communication with customers and drivers.
Responsibilities
- Perform onsite preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in a mobile field environment.
- Handle emergency road service calls with urgency.
- Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
- Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
