Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced auto/diesel technician to service a fleet of cargo vans and trucks. You will perform standard and complex repairs with minimal supervision, including preventive maintenance, engine, brakes, electrical diagnostics, and warranty work.

This role includes on-site and occasional mobile repair responsibilities to keep vehicles on the road. Requirements include a valid driver's license, 2+ years of mechanical repair experience on

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical repairs and diagnostics on medium- or heavy-duty equipment
• Ability to obtain DOT medical clearance
• Working knowledge across engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex mechanical repairs on a fleet of cargo vans and box trucks
• Include preventive maintenance, oil/fluids, tire/brake work, electrical diagnostics and warranty repairs
• May perform mobile repairs and drive Budget vehicles to service locations
