Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We are hiring a Mobile Diesel Service Technician to perform heavy-duty truck repair and maintenance offsite at customer locations in the Fort Mill, SC area.

You will build relationships with customers, drive labor sales, analyze opportunities for service growth, coordinate repair orders, and ensure safe, high-quality repairs with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' heavy duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required.
• CDL/DOT medical card may be required depending on vehicle size.
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working with little supervision.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine heavy-duty truck repairs and maintenance offsite at customer locations.
• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment.
• Advise customer of needed service work and suggest additional labor, parts, and promotions.
• Follow safety practices and ensure proper maintenance of company vehicles.
• Create and close repair orders in the MHC system and document time spent.
• Oversee operations of assigned customers in territory and promote preventive maintenance.
