Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We are seeking a Mobile Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic to perform heavy-duty repairs at customer sites and grow service sales within a designated territory.

You will develop relationships with customers, coordinate repairs, and ensure safety while delivering quality service and accurate documentation of work performed. Training and advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ heavy duty truck repair experience.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector certifications required.
• Class A or B CDL and/or DOT medical card may be required depending on vehicle size.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine heavy-duty mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks offsite at customer locations.
• Coordinate repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment.
• Advise customers on needed service work and potential additional labor and parts.
• Maintain safety practices and accurate documentation of time and parts used.
• Develop relationships with customers to grow labor sales and promote services.
