Job summary

Kooner Fleet Management Solutions is hiring a Mobile Mechanic/Technician to service fleets on-site. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for light to medium-duty vehicles, including emergency roadside service when needed.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on auto/diesel experience, strong communication skills, and are comfortable using mobile apps and diagnostic tools in a dynamic field environment. You’ll work with a team that supports one another.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on auto or diesel tech experience on light to medium duty vehicles.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and drivers.
• Must be 23+ with a clean driving record and valid license.
• Own basic hand tools; company provides remaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs in a mobile field environment.
• Handle emergency road service calls with urgency and care.
• Respond to dispatch requests for scheduled and unscheduled service.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and air systems.
• Use handheld computers and diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly.
• Utilize hand/power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs.
• Road test vehicles to verify quality of work and safety.
