Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking an experienced mobile diesel technician to service Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer sites. You will perform repairs, inspections, and routine maintenance while coordinating with customers on schedule.

The role requires at least 3 years of diesel/trailer repair, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work extended hours including weekends. You must have your own tools and be comfortable using a tablet for work orders.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for work orders.
• Self-motivated with strong organization and planning.
• 2 years of federal inspections and brake inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
• Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and related documentation.
