Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks at customer sites. You’ll schedule maintenance, manage parts and inventory, and ensure accurate DOT documentation.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work extended hours including weekends. Join a team that values hands-on work and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel and trailer repair.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays when needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong organization and planning.
• Comfort with electronic work orders on a tablet/desktop.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections (2 years).
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, A/C, electrical, engine components, etc.).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on a company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage service-truck inventory.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
