Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced mobile technicians to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for Class 6-8 trucks and trailers. You’ll handle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and brake/DOT inspections on customer sites, ensuring quality workmanship and timely service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer and reefer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills required.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends/holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with good organization and planning skills.
• Experience using a computer/tablet to process work orders and labor hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, etc.).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation promptly.
