Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians for on-site truck and trailer repairs across client locations. Technicians will handle inspections, diagnostics, brakes, A/C, electrical systems, and related repairs with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires travel to customer sites, adherence to DOT procedures, and strong organizational skills. A valid driver’s license and proper tools are a must; the company offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders including labor hours and statuses.
• 2 years of experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other required documentation.
