Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking seasoned diesel technicians for on-site maintenance and repairs across customer sites. You will perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, manage DOT tasks, and ensure accurate documentation and parts coordination.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair, possess a valid driver's license, and can work flexible hours. You will operate on a mobile platform with on-site service schedules and a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work extended hours.
• Valid driver’s license required and ability to operate a computer/tablet.
• 2 years of federal inspections and brake inspections experience.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance or equivalent education/experience.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engines, exhausts, lifts, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including DOT inspections.
• Repair/Replace vehicle/trailer components and manage parts inventory on the service truck.
• Open and close repair orders on a company device and document work timely.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other required documentation.
