Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians for on-site maintenance and repairs at customer locations. We are a locally run, family-oriented team using cutting-edge technology to minimize admin time.

Expect to perform repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical systems, and more. Valid license, your own tools, and flexibility with hours are preferred; competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends/holidays.
• Must possess proper tools for repairs.
• 2 years of experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic computer skills for electronic work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks/trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation accurately and on time.
