Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians for on-site repairs and maintenance. Our mobile team brings on-site service to fleets, handling brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical issues, and more with DOT-certified technicians.

You’ll schedule maintenance, obtain parts, and document work orders on a company device; must have a valid license and tools. The role offers first/second shifts, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Communication skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to use a computer/tablet for electronic work orders (labor hours, statuses).
• 2 years of experience in annual federal inspections and brake inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open/close repair orders on a company-issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and other documentation.
