Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in the Lansing, MI area is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic to diagnose and repair semi trucks. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-minded and capable of clear communication with customers and co-workers.

Service Truck experience is strongly preferred. Competitive pay with advancement opportunities and a DAY shift are offered to grow within our team.

Qualifications

• Must have heavy duty truck repair experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose truck systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and parts.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customer.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trucks and operating Service Truck.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position will be an experienced Diesel Mechanic/Heavy Duty Diesel Truck Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi truck diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers. Service Truck experience strong preferred.
