The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the fleet for clients and handling service calls at client locations. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, performing cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, parts removal, installation, report writing, disassembly, reassembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedules.
• Maintain and inventory tools required for diesel engine truck maintenance.
• Read job orders and diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Perform repairs such as injector, piston, liner, camshaft, cylinder head replacements, and more.
• Complete diagnostic and documentation functions on the company system.
• Ensure safety devices are operational and make necessary adjustments.
• Lubricate parts, verify repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and document work.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on future repairs or services.
• Participate in training and apply learned skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related facility.
• Valid CDL and Medical card as per FMVSS requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
